@FootyAccums Tipster Review
FootyAccums have been around for about 8-9years at this point I believe. Started by a group of college friends almost a decade ago when the whole “Tipster Twitter” thing hit off.
Maybe they were in the right place at the right time and had the proper marketing knowledge to promote the site professionally.
Either way that early growth led them to be one of the biggest Twitter betting accounts in the UK without actually providing anything but memes and losing accumulators.
Footy Accums are ‘Affiliate Tipsters’!
This means they spray their site and social media with Bookie sign up offers in the hope you’ll register an account through them. If you do and lose money they will earn 30-40% of all the money you ever lose with that bookie.
Now the business model is starting to make a lot more sense right?
What started as a small time operation between friends is now a massive operation that earns hundreds of thousands in revenue every year. Footy Accums have an enormous social media presence, not just form their @FootyAccums accounts but also their other accounts like @TWEnclosure @AccaTracker and @TeamFA just to name a few.
Today they have tweeted 107 times and tweeted out 37 promotional links encouraging users to register with a range of different bookmakers.
Types of bets
Bet’s tend to be accumulators which are high margin bets for bookmakers and thus benefits them massively. Tips run round the clock which makes sense for their business model. They want people betting constantly, it doesn’t matter to them if a bet has value or not.
Chance of long-term success: 0%
Overall score: 15% – Bad Tipsters
